Directions

  • Cook peppers on grill over medium heat until skin blisters and blackens. Put in bowl. Cover and let stand 10 minutes. Peel skin from peppers. Cut peppers open; scrape away and discard seeds. Cut peppers into strips; set aside.
  • Cook whole green onions on grill over medium heat for about 5 minutes or until softened; chop; set aside.
  • Combine mayonnaise and hot sauce in small bowl; set aside.
  • Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until cheese is just melted. Remove from heat and continue to stir until sauce is smooth.
  • FLAT TOP:Preheat flat top grill to 350°F. Place frozen burgers on hot grill. Cook for a total of approximately 10 minutes, turning 3 times. CHAR GRILL: Preheat char grill. Place frozen burgers on hot grill. Cook for a total of approximately 10 minutes, turning 3 times. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
  • Spread both cut sides of each bun with mayonnaise mixture. Top bottom half of buns with patties, peppers, onions, cheese sauce and tops of buns.
